1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. They let a website remember your actions and preferences (such as being signed in) between visits. We also use similar technologies like local storage and session storage.
2. Necessary cookies
These are required for the site to work and cannot be switched off. They handle authentication, security (CSRF/session) and load balancing. Without them Cardliv cannot sign you in or keep your session secure.
- Supabase auth session — keeps you signed in.
- Cloudflare security cookie — protects against abuse and bots.
- Consent choice — remembers your cookie preferences.
3. Functional cookies
Functional cookies remember choices you make so we can give you a better experience — such as your preferred language, currency and dark-mode setting. They do not track you across other websites.
4. Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4)
With your consent we load Google Analytics 4 to understand which features are used and where we can improve. GA4 is configured with IP anonymisation, no advertising features and Google Consent Mode v2. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set and no data is sent to Google.
5. Marketing cookies
Cardliv does not use marketing, advertising or third-party tracking cookies. No data about you is sold or shared with ad networks.
6. Cookie duration
- Session cookies — deleted when you close your browser.
- Auth session — up to 30 days, refreshed automatically while you use the app.
- Consent choice — up to 12 months.
- Google Analytics — up to 14 months (anonymised).
7. Managing your cookie preferences
You can change your choice at any time by clicking “Cookie preferences” in the cookie banner or by clearing the site's storage from your browser settings. Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies for any website — see the help pages of Chrome, Firefox, Safari or Edge.
8. GDPR & ePrivacy
Under the GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive we ask for your consent before setting any non-essential cookie. Your consent is stored locally on your device and can be withdrawn at any time without affecting the legality of processing carried out before withdrawal.
9. More information
