Terms of Service

By accessing or using Cardliv you confirm that you are at least 16 years old, that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement and that you accept these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Cookie Policy.

You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity that happens under your account. Notify us immediately at support@cardliv.com if you suspect unauthorised access. One person or legal entity per account; do not share credentials.

• Free — perpetual free plan with usage limits (e.g. up to 250 cards and monthly AI scan allowance).
• Pro — €9.99 / month, unlimited AI scanning, Set Tracker, Break Tracker and advanced reports.
• Founding Member — €7.99 / month, limited to the first 100 members, lifetime discount for as long as the subscription stays active without interruption.

Full features and current prices are listed on the Pricing page. Prices are shown in EUR and include applicable VAT where required.

Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe. By starting a subscription you authorise Stripe to charge your payment method on a recurring basis (monthly) until you cancel. Invoices are available from Settings → Subscription and are also emailed by Stripe.

We accept the payment methods enabled by Stripe in your country, including major credit and debit cards, iDEAL, SEPA Direct Debit and select wallets. Failed payments are retried automatically by Stripe. If a payment ultimately fails your subscription will be downgraded to the Free plan.

You can cancel your subscription at any time from Settings → Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep access to paid features until then. We do not pro-rate refunds for partial months. Cancelling a Founding Member subscription permanently ends the Founding discount — a new Founding subscription cannot be started once membership has lapsed or been sold out.

You can switch between paid plans at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately with a pro-rated charge for the remainder of the current billing period. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period.

Our refund terms are described in full in the Refund Policy. Please read it before subscribing.

You agree not to:

• Use Cardliv for any illegal activity or to infringe someone else's rights.
• Upload malware, exploit vulnerabilities or attempt to disrupt the service.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape or resell the service without our written permission.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation.
• Upload content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene or violates third-party intellectual-property rights.

Cardliv, its logo, design, source code and documentation are owned by Cardliv and protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. You retain full ownership of the content and images you upload; you grant us a limited licence to store, process and display them solely to provide the service to you.

Cardliv uses AI to recognise cards, extract metadata and estimate market value. AI output is provided “as is” and may contain errors. Estimated values are informational only and do not constitute a professional appraisal or an offer to buy or sell. Always verify important information before making financial decisions.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cardliv is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or business opportunities. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

You can close your account at any time from Settings → Account. We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these Terms, engage in fraud or abuse the service. On termination we will delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Amsterdam, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced at least 14 days in advance by email or an in-app notice. Continued use of Cardliv after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
